The entire island is shown in fabulous chartreuse shaded relief so the viewer can see the island topography as it stands out like a beautiful emerald on descending hues of ocean blues, which represent the true depth contours of the surrounding North Pacific Ocean. Every hill and valley and the streams that flow out of the mountains to become Guam s numerous rivers can be visualized clearly. Guam s highways and towns are all superbly mapped out for finding your way around this island, which is just over 30 miles in length and varies from about 4 to 9 miles across, depending on where you measure it. The major towns shown are Agana (Hagatna, in the native Chamorro), Tamuning, Tumon Dededo, Yigo, Barrigada, Maite, Mong Mong, Toto, Agana Heights, Sinajana, Ordot, Asan, Piti,Tiyan (A.B. Wonpat International Airport area), Chalan Pago, Mangilao (University of Guam site), Yona, Talofofo, Inarajan, Merizo, Umatac, Agat, and Santa Rita. Guam rivers, streams, bodies of water and waterfalls are shown in accurate detail. Favorite spots to visit are also shown with detailed descriptions. Dive and snorkel sites are named and described. Side Two
This side of the map includes two zoom ins Tumon Bay (the Hotel row area), and the area from Apra Harbor (lots of wrecks to scuba dive on) to Tumon Bay, which includes the scenic and historical capital of Agana (Hagatna in Chamorro). Side 2 also features a map of all of Magnificent Micronesia. The Micronesia map is surrounded by nine mini maps of Micronesia s most prominent islands. They include Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan, Tinian and Rota), Chuuk (Truk) Islands, Pohnpei Islands, Majuro and Arno Atolls of the Marshal Islands, Kosre, Yap Islands and Palau Islands.
As you can see, this is a map and a guidebook rolled into one. Enough info to help you plan your trip and a handy reference to carry and use on Guam. 18.5" x 26", folded to 4.5" x 9" and printed on waterproof, rip-resistant synthetic stock.

This map is great! It's clear enough to read locations on Guam, as well as compact enough to take along on day hikes. It's laminated (read: waterproof!) for a bit of wear and tear...go on, throw it in your backpack!I learned a lot from this bit of cartology. Guam's tagline is: "Where America's day begins." It also included maps of Micronesia, the Yap Islands, the Palau Islands, the Pohnpei Islands, Majuro & Arno Atolls, the Truk (Chuuk) Islands, Rota, Saipan, Tinian. (Some of these I had no idea existed!)
Activities listed include: water sports like scuba and snorkeling, fishing and boating; land sports like golfing, hiking, and shopping.

Map was ok but a bit expensive for a leaflet!
Bought this for future travel use. Good map and gave me ideas of where I want to venture on the Island.
This was a great map and guide, all in one. It was very helpful during my 2 week stay in Guam. The paper is reinforced with a plastic coating, so it did not rip. However, when insect repellant got on it, the ink smudged. Keep the map away from insect repellant! The fish displayed on the map was very handy and we saw many of them while snorkeling there. This is the best guide I believe that is currently available for sale.
Love this map, it's glossy with lots of colors. Things are marked well and are large enough to read. Also, it's made so that it will not tear and rip like other maps. Highly recommend it.
My 85 yr old Dad asked me to find him a map of Guam "on the internet" and print it out and send it to him. Dad was a WWII submariner stationed in Guam, and he has very fond (but out of date) memories of the island. He had heard how much the island had changed, lots of roads, etc, and he just could NOT envision it.
Well, I hunted all over the internet but nothing had much detail, nor was it going to do much for him printed out. Finally I thought to hit and voila, found this map.
Dad was thrilled with it roads, hotels, the sights - on GUAM!?! Amazing! Well, it was to him, 60 yrs later. I can't wait to look at it with him on my next visit, and hear the stories to go with it.
This Guam map and guide is very thorough. We referred to it all the time while sightseeing around the island. It is made of a durable material too.
